about me
My name is Elena Cardellini Francis. I grew up on a family farm in southern Alberta, Canada, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
From a young age, I was captivated by the colours and textures of flowers, the majesty of the mountains, the amazing sunsets, and the wonder of the animals around me. As I got older, photography became my passion and I spent hours learning everything I could about it.
Unfortunately, life got in the way of my dreams. I had to work long hours at jobs that didn’t fulfill me and I also became a caregiver for my aging parents. But I never lost my love for nature and photography. I took classes on my own time to improve my skills and persevered through the challenges.
I was able to open up shops to sell my art and photography. It was a heartwarming experience to see others connect with my work and appreciate nature like I do. It brings me great joy and fulfillment.
